Thank You Rock River Valley

Wow....what a weekend! Mother nature certainly made it difficult for us to put on an air show, but we never gave up and we were able to put on three great shows despite the wind and rain that swept across the Midwest this past week.

I'm sure we all have memories from this weekend...probably some interesting ones relating to surviving wind storms on Friday and torrential rains on Saturday and Sunday. I guess this is what makes getting our three shows off the ground so amazing and satisfying.

Thank You! We would like to take time to thank the entire community and all our sponsors, supporters, AirFest steering committee, and volunteers. We could not have put on the show without your support. We also would like to thank the media for your coverage and assistance in helping us get the word out about our show to Rockford-area residents.

If you lost an item while attending AirFest, please contact Carol Moyer at 815-969-4466 or cmoyer@flyrfd.com. Items that we currently have include cell phones, sun glasses, clothing, and even a wedding ring.
