Things to do in the New York City Area
New York City is the most populous city in the country and is sometimes referred
to as "The City thatNever Sleeps" or “The Big Apple.” With the many things that visitors can see and do in the five boroughs of New York City it is easy to see why NYC has been given these nicknames.
With major tourist destinations including the Empire State Building, the Statue
of Liberty, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, and Times Square, shopping along Fifth and Madison Avenues, and taking time to see a Broadway theatre
production or visit the museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, it is impossible to see all of what New York has to offer in a weekend.
The dining and nightlife in NYC is about as plentiful as the tourist
attractions.  Cuisine options are very diverse and cater to all types of
food lovers. To finish off your day, NYC offers many diverse types of entertainment from Broadway productions to sporting events.
